Touching Hearts, Changing Lives
The response to MN broadcasts, websites, and phone ministry is phenomenal. During a recent 90-minute broadcast of Daring Questions, millions of viewers tuned in and over 1,000 people called the program’s prayer line. Every day, people from many Muslim nations call or e-mail with powerful testimonies of how God is moving in their lives.
One viewer, who is a Muslim leader from Jordan, wrote: “I recite the Koran and teach it to my class. ... I admire Father Zakaria’s lessons and I find him a knowledgeable person who speaks irrefutable facts. I started to doubt my inherited belief. I want to know more.”
In Egypt, a viewer named Ahmad began watching Father Zakaria’s Truth Talk late at night while his family slept. “When I first saw the show, I was angry at him. I wanted revenge,” he said. As he studied the Koran and the Bible to refute the program’s claims, Ahmad learned more about Islam and Christianity. “I started to think about things I had never thought of before. My understanding changed and things became clear,” he said. Ahmad came to faith in Jesus Christ, and so did his wife, Mariam. She explained: “I realized Islam was a fake religion. When I learned the truth, I removed my veil. I felt freedom. I had been released. Life is not about religion. It’s about a relationship between us and Christ. Christ is life.”
